Why is Hollywood sooo stupid ?
In almost all movies filmed about Ancient Greece, the Greeks are portrayed as fair skinned, blonde haired and blue eyed. And since when were the Greeks blonde and blue eyed?? We live in the Mediterranean!! Have any Hollywood directors even READ Greek historyy??? Because in almost all Greek history books, the Greeks were portrayed as olive skinned with brown hair. Aristotle described them as not dark as Egyptian but not as white as Nordics. He thought of them as the ideal race. In fact Homer asked Goddess Athena to turn his hair blonde since it was a rare color in Greece. I just dont like it when Hollywood portaits us like this, because it has connection to reality. In fact DNA tests of modern day Greeks across Russian and Austrian scientists have proved that modern day Greeks are direct descendants of Ancient Greeks. And most modern day Greeks are white skinned with brown hair and eyes, certainly not pale redheads as Hollywood portaits us. phhhhh!!
hollywood is stupid because it's a) entertaining to watch stars spiral down into complete insanity and b) they're not actually stupid, they're just looking to maximize profits and don't actually care about facts.
